Biography

Dallin Johannsen – a tattoo artist based in Pocatello, Idaho – primarily works with black and grey realistic tattoos.

His art and inspiration have been greatly influenced by the likes of Daniel Silva’s precision and his own capacity to create art with a perfect blend of realism, aesthetic sense, and longevity.

Taking inspiration from Greek Renaissance art, Greek and religious sculpture, as well as fine art traditions, there is a clear focus in Dallin’s work that is rooted in professionalism and an intentional mindset regarding the concept of tattooing. All works are meant to feel as if they could not possibly date.

Dallin's pre-med background has given shape to his respect and appreciation of anatomy, discipline, and skill; nonetheless, he has fully devoted himself to tattooing due to his passion for drawing and his desire to live an elite-level art lifestyle.

As a tattoo artist, he sees every tattoo not only as a work of art but also as an investment made by the individual.
